Sunderland will play Blackburn Rovers in the fifth round of this season's Carling Cup.

The fixture is one of only three all-Premier League ties, with the game taking place at the Stadium of Light in the week commencing November 10, 2008.

In a weird twist, Sunderland will then go to Ewood Play to play Blackburn in a league game the following Saturday November 15.
