Sunderland's Under 18s won their league this weekend with a game to spare, thanks to a comfortable 4-0 home win over West Brom's Under 18s.
The kids, who lost out to Manchester City in the semi finals of the FA Youth Cup, won Group D of the Premier Academy League on Saturday with a game to spare - and as luck would have it, the Academy play-offs see us face Manchester City again! Sunderland's Under 18s are unbeaten in the league for an incredible 14 games, which included recent wins over Manchester United (5-1), Crewe (5-0) and two victories this season over Newcastle United. Saturday's 4-0 win came courtesy of goals from Nathan Luscombe, Jack Colback, Gavin Donoghue and Martyn Waghorn.
