Sunderland have been linked with French striker Marc-Antoine Fortune.

With about a month left in the season, the rumour mill is slowly grinding back into action, and it's thought that the 26 year old Nancy striker has caught Roy Keane's eye.

Of course, Keane has said that he will be looking across Europe for new signings after being put off by high prices in the British transfer market - but it's not likely that Fortune's goalscoring record of five goals from 13 games this season will set many pulses racing on Wearside, and will probably bring back bad memories of Lilian Laslandes.
