Sunderland will be unveiling the design of next season's home shirt tomorrow, ahead of an on-sale date in May.

Rumours are suggesting that the new kit, which will go on sale on May 7, will keep the red and white stripes (thankfully), black shorts, but instead change the socks from mainly black to mostly red.

The new home kit comes as Sunderland plan to launch two new kits for next season - home and away - with this season's white away shirt replacing the blue "third" kit that has never been worn in a competitive game for the Lads this season. A new away kit, which is believed to be dark blue, will be unveiled later on, ahead of a launch date at some point during the close season.
